Help us support our brave medical professionals in the fight against Covid-19

The Problem

The novel coronavirus has stretched our medical system to the max. N95 masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE) are sold out across the world.  The CDC has recently advised hospitals and first responders to reuse masks, to rely on masks beyond their expiration date, or to consider using bandanas and scarfs as a last resort. These new crisis CDC guidelines can be given a much better option if we provide our hospitals and first responders a way to sanitize their masks.

Our Solution

With proper PPE sold out worldwide, it's not as simple as just making a donation for the needed supplies. We have created a device capable of sanitizing PPE in approximately 10 seconds, built using materials easily procured at local hardware and pet supply stores. We are offering the plans for this device open-source in hopes of getting these built and into the hands of the doctors and nurses that so desperately need them.

Visit The Plan and User Resources pages for the nitty gritty.

Get Involved
We need handy people, "Makers," to take our open-source plans and get to work! Especially in areas outside southern California, as it is cost-prohibitive for us to try to build them here and ship them elsewhere. Having other Makers build these is crucial.

And if you don't consider yourself handy, you can still help. Materials needed for these devices add up and you can help fund a Maker's builds. Fund Nick's builds here in southern California by donating to our GoFundMe (or directly on Venmo @alysenicole3).
